Loreley, …ley …ley

A myth says that a mermaid named Loreley was sitting on a rock at the Rhine and by combing her golden hair she distracted the boatmen so that they got off their tracks and many boats sank. A statue of Loreley is to be seen at the bottom of the 132 meters high so called Loreley rock near St. Goarshausen.
